The PM’s Role in Centerline

Led by Andrea Bowman. An overview of Centerline from project setup through bidding, construction, and closeout, and the parts of it the project manager owns.

Session throughline: The PM is the single point person for Centerline. Set up each module with care, route every submittal and RFI, and close the record before you archive it.

What this session covered

  • ✓Name the 3 places where the PM lacks full admin rights: bidding, the task manager, and the storyteller module.
  • ✓Use the 2 MILO forms that start and end a Centerline project: new project setup and project archive.
  • ✓Avoid the bidding mistakes that can’t be fixed: the live date, the one upload of specs and drawings, and addenda.
  • ✓Set up construction: name the architect administrator, then review the set before you publish it.
  • ✓Route a submittal or RFI to consultants with an internal due date, then accept it or send it back.
  • ✓Post the substantial completion document before the project is archived.
